Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft MPOS Developer to join our Microsoft Dynamics Retail practice. The role will focus on developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Modern POS (MPOS) solutions using the Retail SDK.

The successful candidate will work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable retail solutions and provide technical support for enterprise retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Modern POS (MPOS) applications.

• Develop and maintain Retail SDK extensions for MPOS, Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, and Hardware Station.

• Customize POS workflows, operations, receipts, and transaction processing.

• Integrate MPOS with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and third-party applications.

• Support payment processing, pricing, promotions, inventory, and customer management functionalities.

• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement technical solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and release management.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support global retail implementations and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail / Dynamics 365 Retail development.

• Proven hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Modern POS (MPOS) solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Retail SDK

  • MPOS Extensions

  • Commerce Runtime (CRT)

  • Retail Server

  • Hardware Station

• Strong proficiency in:

  • C#

  • .NET Framework

  • JavaScript

  • TypeScript

  • SQL Server

  • Visual Studio

• Experience integrating MPOS with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and third-party systems.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and release management.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Willingness to work on-site 1–2 days per week in McKinley, Taguig.

• Amenable to a Canada night-shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Retail and Dynamics 365 Retail.

• Experience with Retail Channel Database and Retail Headquarters.

• Knowledge of payment connectors, fiscal devices, and retail hardware integration.

• Experience supporting global retail implementations.

• Microsoft Dynamics certifications are an advantage.
