Risk Adjustment Medical Coder – Team Leader (Non-Voice)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Risk Adjustment Medical Coder – Team Leader to manage and support a team of medical coders while ensuring accurate and compliant risk adjustment coding. The role involves coding validation, quality monitoring, team guidance, and process adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee Risk Adjustment coding activities with high accuracy.

• Review coded medical records and ensure compliance with coding guidelines.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.

• Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.

• Conduct coding validation and identify errors or improvement areas.

• Act as an SME for Risk Adjustment coding-related queries.

• Support process improvement and maintain coding quality standards.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding coding and process-related concerns.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, client requirements, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of Risk Adjustment Coding experience.

• At least 1 year of SME / Team Lead / Supervisor / People Manager experience.

• Must hold an active PHRN license.

• Must hold an active CPC (RA Coder) certification.

• Strong knowledge of Risk Adjustment coding guidelines and medical terminology.

• Good analytical, communication, and team-management skills.
