Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inpatient Coder - QA Specialist with strong inpatient coding and audit/QA experience. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing inpatient coding accuracy, conducting quality audits, identifying coding errors, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits of inpatient medical coding.

• Review inpatient coding accuracy and completeness.

• Identify coding errors and provide appropriate feedback.

• Validate clinical documentation and coding accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with applicable coding guidelines and quality standards.

• Support continuous improvement of coding quality and processes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent and relevant clinical/hospital experience.

• At least 3 years of Inpatient Coding experience.

• At least 1 year of Inpatient Audit/QA experience.

• Active PRN/Medical Allied license.

• CCS/CPC/CIC Certification (Inpatient) required.
