Role Overview

TCS is hiring a Category Manager – Sourcing & Procurement to develop and execute category management strategies, drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize procurement costs, and improve supply chain efficiency. The role requires expertise in procurement analytics, supplier management, contract negotiation, market intelligence, and category strategy while leveraging ERP tools and Power BI to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management strategies.

• Analyze procurement data, market trends, and spend patterns.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive sourcing initiatives.

• Conduct supplier evaluation, vendor selection, and onboarding.

• Lead strategic sourcing projects and negotiations.

• Perform market analysis, risk analysis, and bid evaluation.

• Monitor procurement KPIs and supplier performance through dashboards.

• Drive Capex and Opex savings.

• Manage contracts and ensure procurement compliance.

• Support procurement process automation and continuous improvement.
