Position Title: Cargo Revenue Accounting

Reports To: Team Leader

Location: Mumbai (candidates must currently reside in Mumbai only) 

Salary: Up to 6 LPA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Cargo Revenue Accounting, including Sales Accounting, Interline Accounting, and Mail Accounting. The role involves knowledge of SIS and CASS invoice handling, as well as in-depth analysis of various fields captured in Air Waybill (AWB) data within operations systems (e.g., gross weight, chargeable weight, tariff charged, SHC codes, product codes) compared against physical or scanned AWB copies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyse various fields on AWB against data captured in airline cargo operation and revenue accounting systems.


• Apply business rules for the accurate rating of AWB in the system.


• Implement exceptions in the system for invoicing customers across network stations.


• Apply correct rates on AWB (standard tariff, contract tariff, ad-hoc rates).


• Query and make necessary changes to the data.


• Handle interline invoices and rejections from SIS.


• Manage CASS reconciliation.


• Communicate with stations, agents, and airlines.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a graduate degree in one of the following: BCom (Bachelor of Commerce), BAF (Bachelor of Accounting and Finance), or BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies).

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of working experience in airline cargo revenue accounting.


• International BPO experience is required.

Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.


• Hands-on experience in MS Office is preferred.

Personal Characteristics:

• Hard-working individuals willing to work in a 24/7 shift pattern.

Certifications:

• IATA FIATA certification in the airline cargo domain is an added advantage.
