Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities. This role requires a hybrid work setup and a night shift schedule after training.

Key Responsibilities

  Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.

  
  


• 
  

  Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.

  
  


• 
  

  Support internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (required).

  
  


• 
  

  CPA license preferred; non-CPAs with strong relevant experience may be considered.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of accounting principles (journal entries, debits, credits).

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with account reconciliations and month/quarter-end close analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in handling large volumes of financial data and advanced Excel skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in shared services or BPO environment is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to work a night shift schedule in a hybrid setup after training.
