Job Title: Senior Data Platform Engineer
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) | Ortigas, Pasig

Shift: Shifting Schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Contract Duration: 1 Year
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms that support enterprise-wide analytics and decision-making. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in cloud data engineering, modern data architectures, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
- Lead the implementation of modern data engineering tools such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform reliability, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Prepare technical designs and ensure best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD deployment.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data platform engineering or software engineering.
- Strong experience in designing and developing integrated data systems.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or TypeScript for data integration.
- Familiarity with Databricks, modern data warehousing solutions, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
