Location: Taguig City (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our Digitalization & Automation Services Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our development and delivery teams to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data solutions using Azure technologies — with a strong focus on Databricks and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement storage solutions using Azure SQL and Azure Data Lake Storage


• Develop ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to move and transform data from multiple sources


• Build and optimize business solutions using Azure Databricks


• Align with DevOps strategies to deploy and promote code into production


• Create reusable Databricks components and optimize delivery workflows


• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical implementation plans

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years as an Azure Data Engineer

Core Expertise:

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in both Databricks and PySpark


• Strong knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault


• Experience in migration and modernization projects


• Skilled in building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL


• Knowledge of Autosys, batch scripts, and Agile methodologies


• Familiar with Azure DevOps (CI/CD), Kafka, Solace queue, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI, and Azure App Services


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Setup

• Hybrid: Onsite 2–3 days per week (McKinley, Taguig)


• Shift: Late mid-shift to night-shift schedule


• Must be amenable to working onsite as required
