Job Title: Inventory Staff Accountant – Supervisor

Work Location: Ayala, Makati

Work Setup & Schedule: Hybrid (after training) | Night Shift

 Salary: Up to PHP 50,000/month

 

Job Description:

As an Inventory Staff Accountant – Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting key accounting operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

•Supervise and review inventory accounting processes and reconciliations

•Prepare and review journal entries related to inventory and cost accounting

•Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis

•Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions and adjustments

•Handle large volumes of data for reconciliation and reporting

•Support month-end and year-end closing activities

•Assist with internal and external audits as needed

•Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

•Provide guidance to junior staff and help streamline processes

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy

•Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus, but not required. Non-CPAs may be endorsed if they have a strong accounting background.

•2–3 years of relevant accounting experience is required, specifically in:

Inventory accounting (not physical or warehouse-related)

Reconciliation and journal entries (credit/debit transactions)

Accrual entries, including General Ledger (GL) and Profit & Loss (P&L)

•Analysis of cost of goods and inventory reserves

•Supervisory experience in inventory accounting is a must

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in handling large datasets using data manipulation tools

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Highly organized and detail-oriented

•Willing to work night shift under a hybrid setup based in Ayala, Makati
