Role Overview:

We are seeking a Settlements Senior Analyst to lead critical trade operations functions across pre-matching, trade matching, inventory management, and exception handling. You will ensure trades flow accurately from execution to settlement, working closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and external counterparties.


Key Responsibilities:


Maintain close working relationships with European and local operational teams.


Supervise pre-matching of trades, validating trade economics and instructions.


Ensure accurate matching of internal trades against market/external trades.


Actively manage unmatched trades, discrepancies, and settlement breaks.


Lead break investigations and coordinate corrective actions.


Oversee inventory management, position monitoring, and reconciliations.


Identify and book depot transfers based on ladder positions and inventory balances.


Ensure timely event capturing and processing across trade lifecycle events.


Manage and support claims investigations.


Monitor, escalate, and report unmatched instructions, failed trades, and inventory discrepancies.


Qualifications:


Minimum 2 years experience in trade settlements supporting trading activities – required.


Strong attention to detail with a disciplined, control-oriented approach.


Ability to work under pressure and meet strict settlement deadlines.


Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.


Proficient in MS Excel for trade tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.


Must be based in the Philippines with the right to live and work.
