German Language Processor Lead – HRO + German

Job Summary

The German Language Processor Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) and HR Operations for German-speaking employees across global regions. The role requires strong experience in HR Shared Services, German-language HR support, employee lifecycle management, and HRIS platforms such as Workday HCM, ServiceNow, or SuccessFactors. The candidate will lead Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR support, manage escalations, oversee HR processes, mentor team members, monitor service quality and SLAs, ensure data accuracy and GDPR compliance, and collaborate with global HR stakeholders. The role also involves Learning & Development operations, process improvement, automation, transition activities, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR support for German-speaking employees across multiple regions.

• Manage HR inquiries related to Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.

• Ensure timely resolution of HR tickets while meeting SLA, TAT, and quality targets.

• Act as the escalation point for complex HR cases and critical employee issues.

• Provide guidance and support to HR Operations team members.

• Oversee end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) activities.

• Manage onboarding and pre-employment documentation.

• Handle employee data management, job changes, transfers, promotions, and organizational updates.

• Oversee leave administration, offboarding, and exit management.

• Ensure accurate processing of Workday HCM transactions.

• Lead Learning & Development administration activities across global business units.

• Coordinate with vendors, business stakeholders, and learning teams for training programs.

• Monitor training completion, learning records, and learning management processes.

• Mentor, coach, and support HR Operations associates.

• Conduct quality reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and process trainings.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Global HR teams.

• Participate in governance meetings and client reviews.

• Ensure employee data accuracy and integrity across HR systems.

• Maintain compliance with GDPR, company policies, and data privacy regulations.

• Monitor operational metrics, dashboards, productivity, and quality reports.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

• Participate in transition projects, process documentation, and knowledge management.

• Drive operational excellence through Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or Global Business Services.

• Fluency in German at B2/C1 level or higher.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Strong experience in end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes.

• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platforms.

• Experience supporting global or multinational clients.

• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
