We are hiring an experienced Record to Report (RTR) Team Leader to lead Finance & Accounting operations in Chennai. If you have strong expertise in General Ledger (GL), financial close, reconciliations, and RTR processes, along with leadership experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualifications

* Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3)
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Accounts (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter)
* 5–10 years of experience in General Accounting and Record to Report (RTR)
* Strong knowledge of General Ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close activities
* Good understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards
* Experience leading finance teams in a Shared Services or BPO environment is preferred
* Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) operations and ensure timely financial close
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
* Review and approve journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and General Ledger postings
* Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and tax accounts
* Manage intercompany accounting, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations
* Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, disposals, and asset master data
* Prepare financial reports, trial balances, variance analysis, and management reports
* Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
* Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives
* Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations teams to support business objectives
* Mentor and lead the RTR team to achieve operational excellence
