Role Overview

TCS is hiring a Head of Operations / Delivery Head – UK Mortgage to lead and scale a large UK Mortgage delivery function within the Banking & Financial Services domain. The role involves complete ownership of service delivery, client governance, operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives while managing an operation of approximately 1,000 employees across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UK Mortgage operations across multiple locations.

• Manage a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees through multiple leadership levels.

• Own delivery KPIs including SLA, quality, productivity, TAT, accuracy, and customer experience.

• Build and manage senior client relationships and governance.

• Lead client reviews, operational governance, and strategic discussions.

• Ensure compliance with UK Mortgage regulations and internal controls.

• Manage operational risk, audits, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.

• Drive automation, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee workforce planning, capacity management, hiring forecasts, attrition, and succession planning.

• Manage budgets, revenue, profitability, billing, and cost optimization.

• Support business transitions, migrations, and account expansion.

• Develop future leaders and foster a high-performance culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 18–25 years of Banking/BPO/Financial Services experience.

• Mandatory experience in UK Mortgage Operations.

• Delivery Head / Operations Head / Business Unit Head experience.

• Managing large operations (approximately 1,000 employees).
