Group Lead – Employee Benefits Operations

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Group Lead to manage the Employee Benefits Operations function, with strong experience in Finance & Accounting, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, and employee claims or reimbursement processes. The role involves managing a team, handling client/stakeholder interactions, ensuring SLA and KPI adherence, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Employee Benefits line of business and manage day-to-day operations.

• Review claims processed by the team for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Act as the SPOC for stakeholders, handling queries and providing timely updates.

• Guide and manage a team of processors and monitor their performance.

• Analyze claims to identify trends, potential fraud, and process improvement opportunities.

• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution.

• Publish performance reports and metrics for leadership.

• Maintain proper process documentation and ensure cross-skilling of resources.

• Ensure consistent achievement of SLA and KPI targets.

• Manage employee travel claims processing and reimbursement for the India market.

• Oversee approximately 25–40 resources.

• Drive client management activities within the F&A/HRO operations environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 10–12 years of overall relevant experience.

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a managerial/team management role.

• Experience managing 25–40 resources.

• Strong experience in F&A/HRO operations, client management, claims reimbursement, or employee travel claims.

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and reconciliation.

• Commerce Graduate preferred.

• Minimum qualification: CA Inter passed.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.

• Strong collaboration and customer-centric approach.

• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and SAP.
