​Role: Delivery Manager - Payroll

2. Job Summary

The Delivery Manager – Payroll is responsible for leading end-to-end payroll operations

within an HRO environment, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and client

satisfaction. The role focuses on managing US payroll processes, leveraging HRIS platforms

such as Oracle HRMS and SAP SuccessFactors, and ensuring adherence to statutory

frameworks. This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, governance,

and continuous improvement initiatives across payroll delivery.

3. Key Responsibilities

 Lead end-to-end payroll service delivery across global HRO programs

 Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and payroll governance frameworks

 Manage US payroll statutory compliance including tax filing, reporting, and

deductions

 Oversee payroll processing lifecycle (gross-to-net, reconciliations, year-end

activities)

 Utilize HRIS platforms (Oracle HRMS, SAP SuccessFactors) for payroll execution and

reporting

 Handle escalations, complex payroll scenarios, and issue resolution

 Drive automation, process improvements, and transformation initiatives

 Engage with clients and stakeholders for governance, service reviews, and reporting

 Ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) for seamless delivery

4. Required Qualifications

 Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Finance, or related field

 Payroll certifications (CPP, FPC) – preferred

5. Experience Requirements

 12+ years of experience in payroll operations, HRO delivery, or service management

 Experience in US payroll processing and compliance

 Prior experience in handling client delivery and payroll operations on a scale
