Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst (Portuguese) with strong expertise in Finance & Accounting and Portuguese language proficiency to support global financial research and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, conducting web-based research, extracting key financial data, and ensuring accurate reporting while collaborating with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  Analyze and interpret financial statements, broker reports, and financial documents of global organizations.

  Conduct web research to collect, validate, and analyze financial and market-related information.

  Extract key financial data from Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  
• 
  
• 
  Capture financial metrics including Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Income Before Tax, Income Tax, Weighted Average Shares, and other financial indicators.

• 
  Review company press releases, earnings calls, and presentations to extract future estimates and financial guidance.

• 
  Perform transaction-based processing, data verification, reconciliation, and reporting activities.

  Maintain data accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  Interact with global clients and support business requirements through effective communication.

  Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

  Portuguese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).

  Experience in Finance & Accounting, Financial Research, or Financial Data Analysis.

  Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

  Knowledge of financial markets, equity, fixed income, and financial reporting.

  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  Strong web research and data interpretation abilities.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

  Willingness to work rotational and night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (B.Com, BAF, BMS, MBA Finance preferred).

  Certifications such as NISM, CMSA, IFRS, or other financial certifications are an added advantage.

  Experience working with global financial clients is preferred.
