Position Title: Senior Accountant/Accountant    

Reports To: Accounting Manager             

Direct Reports: NA             

This role is Open for EP /S pass/ Work Pass 

Candidates can apply from Malaysia / Philippines as well         

Must have working experience in RETAIL/ LUXURY BRAND ONLY

Objective of role: To support accurate and timely financial/management reporting and smooth financial operations for our business entities in Southeast Asia and Australia

Key accountabilities:

• Assist Accounting Manager to handle various accounting and taxation matters for the business in Southeast Asia and Australia region

• Full set book-keeping of accounts in conformity with the headquarter’s reporting requirements 

• Liaise with local office, stores, and professional consultants to support daily operations

• In charge of region’s year-end stock take activities

• Prepare audit schedules and provide support to external audit 

• Provide ad hoc support to FP&A for month-end closing and budget and forecast

• Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required

Key attributes:

• Relevant qualification with 5-8 years relevant working experience

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Accountant

• Experience in MNC companies and luxury retail/retail industry will be preferred 

• Knowledge in SAP will be highly advantageous

• Proactive team player with strong communication skills

• Detail-minded and able to meet tight deadlines

• Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
