The Role

Are you a Senior Staff Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a passion for financial accuracy? Do you thrive on preparing complex financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities?

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities.

If you are a College Graduate (Accounting course non-negotiable) with at least 4 years of experience, strong ERP system knowledge, and intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

· Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and company policies.

· Account Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.

· Data Manipulation: Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis.

· Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables.

· Month-End/Year-End Close: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.

· Audit Support: Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of required documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

· Education: College Graduate (Accounting course non-negotiable).

· Certification: CPA preferred (but open to Non-CPA candidates).

· Experience: At least 4 years of experience in accounting.

· Accounting Knowledge: Sound accounting knowledge (non-negotiable):

  · Preparation of Journal Entries

  · Trial Balance

  · Balance Sheet / P&L

  · Contra Asset Accounts

  · General Ledger Management

  · Account Reconciliation

  · Financial Reporting

  · Preparation of Invoices

  · Accruals

  · Bank Reconciliation (Multi-Currency preferred)

  · Supports Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Close

  · Financial Analysis

· ERP Systems: Experience with ERP Systems (e.g., SAP) is required.

· Data Manipulation: Proficiency in handling and manipulating large data sets (non-negotiable).

· Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to Advanced Excel proficiency:

  · PIVOT Table (step-by-step knowledge required, non-negotiable)

  · Zero Bank Balance understanding

· Communication: Good communication skills.

· Work Setup: Willing to work hybrid in Taguig (training is pure onsite for 2-3 months) with a night shift schedule.
