Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor

Location: McKinley, Taguig, Philippines

Work Setup: Hybrid after training

Training: Fully On-site for 2–3 months

Shift: Night Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor to support complex accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and post accurate journal entries.

- Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

- Manage General Ledger activities and support financial reporting.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet/P&L, and other reports.

- Handle and manipulate large financial datasets.

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

- Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – required.

- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.

- CPA is preferred; Non-CPA candidates are welcome to apply.

- Strong knowledge of General Ledger, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting, and closing processes.

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

- Strong data manipulation skills with large datasets – required.

- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.

- Strong Pivot Table skills – required.

- Knowledge of multi-currency bank reconciliation is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills.

- Willing to complete 2–3 months of fully onsite training and transition to hybrid work afterward.

- Willing to work the night shift.
