Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, experience handling complex financial processes, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. This role involves financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.

• Handle large data sets and perform financial data manipulation and analysis.

• Prepare financial statements and other financial reports.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger.

• Prepare and review invoices, accruals, trial balances, and balance sheet schedules.

• Perform bank reconciliations, including multi-currency accounts.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and automation.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Mandatory).

• CPA is preferred; qualified Non-CPA candidates are also welcome to apply.

• Minimum of 4 years of Accounting or Finance experience.

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Accruals, and Account Reconciliation.

• Experience preparing financial reports and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar.

• Strong experience handling large datasets and financial data manipulation.

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables (mandatory).

• Good understanding of Contra Asset Accounts and Zero Bank Balance concepts.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
