Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: BGC, Taguig, Philippines (Hybrid – 3x onsite weekly)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Start Date: Immediate joiners or within 2 weeks preferred

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise applications within an agile environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in software architecture, technical leadership, and mentoring while contributing to scalable and secure banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies

• Design scalable microservices and REST APIs

• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making

• Collaborate with cross-functional and agile teams

• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

• Mentor junior developers and lead by example

• Ensure code quality through testing and best engineering practices

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and deployment activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 10–14 years of hands-on experience in Java development

• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, ReactJS, and SQL/PLSQL

• Experience with OpenShift, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture

• Familiarity with DevOps tools, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket

• Experience with TDD/BDD and testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, or JEST

• Experience working within Agile environments

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

• Stable employment history preferred (non-job hopper)
