About the Role:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validating the business needs of stakeholders, including customers and end-users. The incumbent will perform stakeholder interviews and gather user requirements to determine the necessary technology solutions.

This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to aid the business in making informed technology decisions.

She/he will work closely with the Team/Platform Lead to explore technologies that can enhance business processes and optimize solution architecture. S/he will play a vital role in ensuring that IT comprehends the business’s requirements. The incumbent will report to designated senior International Staff and/or senior National Staff.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Planning, and Client Management
   
   • Organize meetings and collaborate with product managers to determine product scope, vision, and roadmap.
   
   • Write user stories, epics, releases as well as their characteristics.

1. Product Design and Development
   
   • Define product features according to business needs. Take charge of user requirement analysis for product design by co￾working with the technical team.
   
   • Manage and prioritize product backlog items. Optimize pipeline release plan based on the delivery to ensure maximum
   
   client requirements are met.
   
   • Assist the product development team in meeting the objectives of each sprint/release cycle.

1. Production Support:
   
   • Participate in post-go-live maintenance service plan, in-house or managed service, for new products in coordination with the technical team.

1. Operational Management
   
   • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
   
   Perform effort estimation using INVEST (Independent, Negotiable Valuable, Estimable, Sized appropriately, and Testable).

   • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to
   
   developers/project team.
   
   • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
   
   • Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
   
   • Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, Accounting, or any related course

• At least 8 years of solid experience in business analysis

• 5 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes

• 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications

• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development

• Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

• Proven experience in business analysis on ServiceNow products

• Experience in using ServiceNow as an application and has high level but relevant knowledge on how ServiceNow is utilized by different business and technical domains

• Experience in being involved in governance boards and committees and running workshops with similar audience

Technical Knowledge

• Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.

• Demonstrated product or platform governance knowledge and best practices

• Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, DevOps. CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and testing/quality assurance.

• Strong knowledge on Microsoft Technology Stack products such as SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Copilot, and other emerging technologies like ServiceNow and GenAI

• Strong knowledge on ServiceNow Platform and employee center products
