Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with extensive expertise in Data Centre Network Infrastructure, enterprise networking, and large-scale network migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Cisco technologies, network security, routing and switching, and infrastructure deployment in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure projects.

• Execute network infrastructure deployment and application migration activities.

• Configure and manage Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, Cisco ACI, Fortinet, and Juniper technologies.

• Manage routing, switching, firewall, and network security infrastructure.

• Perform network planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders throughout project execution.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and security controls.

• Support network delivery projects from planning through implementation and handover.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience implementing complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Cisco Catalyst, and Cisco Nexus.

• Minimum 5 years of expert-level experience in enterprise networking.

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with VMware NSX and Distributed Firewall (DFW).

• Conceptual knowledge of DNS and SD-WAN.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Cisco NX-OS

  • Cisco IOS-XE

  • Cisco ACI

  • Fortinet Firewalls

  • Juniper Firewalls

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, IGP, and BGP routing protocols.

• Experience with network migration and application flow through firewall environments.

• Basic knowledge of Python scripting.

• Experience managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Stable employment history (not a frequent job changer).

• Candidates must not be current or former employees of Wipro.
