Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Monitoring, Observability and Event Management Architect to design and implement enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions. The role focuses on ServiceNow ITOM, Azure monitoring technologies, application performance management, automation, and DevOps while driving enterprise-wide observability standards and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Monitoring & Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.

• Lead monitoring architecture across cloud and enterprise platforms.

• Define enterprise monitoring standards and best practices.

• Design monitoring solutions for SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional architecture and engineering teams.

Event Management

• Implement and integrate ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.

• Configure alert integration and event correlation.

• Design AIOps-enabled monitoring solutions.

• Support enterprise event management architecture.

Cloud & Observability

• Design monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Azure services.

• Build observability dashboards and telemetry solutions.

• Configure Application Performance Monitoring (APM).

• Work with Grafana, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Prometheus, Riverbed, and Nobl9.

Automation & DevOps

• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and Ansible.

• Support automation upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

• Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and innovation initiatives.

• Support monitoring automation and deployment strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather business requirements.

• Deliver scalable and cost-effective monitoring solutions.

• Work with business units and technical stakeholders.

• Support software lifecycle planning and upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Monitoring or related technical roles.

• 3+ years of IT Architecture experience.
