Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Pre-sales and Solutions to lead pre-sales initiatives and develop winning Service Desk (BPO) solutions for enterprise clients. This role is responsible for driving business development, managing bids, supporting sales strategies, and ensuring compliance with CGI's Business Engineering Management Framework (BEMF). The ideal candidate has a strong background in Service Desk pre-sales, bid management, consulting, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution development for major Service Desk (BPO) bids and opportunities.

• Drive business development activities and build a strong sales pipeline.

• Develop competitive proposals and innovative client solutions.

• Standardize tools, offerings, and best practices across bid teams.

• Build and maintain a knowledge repository for bids, case studies, and solution assets.

• Collaborate with multiple business units to deliver winning proposals.

• Improve bid efficiency and ensure compliance with the Business Engineering Management Framework (BEMF).

• Support Delivery Directors during sales-to-delivery transition and hand-off.

• Participate in Communities of Practice and contribute to business growth initiatives.

• Represent the organization in industry forums and networking events.

• Manage Profit & Loss responsibilities while supporting strategic business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Profit & Loss within a consulting organization.

• Proven experience in pre-sales for Service Desk (BPO) environments.

• Experience in strategic sales planning, pipeline development, and closing complex IT consulting deals.

• Strong experience managing large bids and proposal development.

• BEMF Training is required.

• Service Desk experience is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and digital transformation.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willing to travel as required.

• Stable employment history (not a frequent job hopper).

• Must not be a current or former employee of CGI.
