About the role

We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets Operations – Settlements Senior Analyst to support critical trade settlement operations within a fast-paced capital markets environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of trades, managing settlement exceptions, inventory reconciliation, and collaborating with Front Office, Middle Office, and global stakeholders to deliver seamless post-trade operations..

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade settlement activities, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of financial transactions.
• Perform trade pre-matching, trade matching, and settlement validation to minimize settlement failures.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched trades, settlement breaks, and trade exceptions.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, execution brokers, custodians, and external counterparties to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor inventory positions, perform reconciliations, and manage stock movements and depot transfers.
• Process trade lifecycle events while maintaining data integrity and operational accuracy.
• Support claims investigations, exception management, and operational risk reporting.
• Monitor settlement performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with operational controls.
• Partner with regional and global operations teams to ensure efficient trade processing and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Trade Settlements, Capital Markets Operations, Securities Operations, Investment Banking Operations, or Post-Trade Operations.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement processing, reconciliation, exception management, and inventory management.
• Experience supporting physical and/or financial products is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure while meeting strict settlement deadlines.
• Willing to work onsite in Taguig on a night shift.
