Overview:

Confidential hiring for a Global Director of Tax. Lead global tax compliance and strategy for a multinational organization. This is an executive leadership role offering up to PHP 500K monthly package with temporary WFH setup. Open to candidates based in BGC Taguig, Cebu, Davao, or Clark Pampanga.

Work Schedule: Flexible shifting - weekends, night shift, holidays

Salary: PHP 300,000 - PHP 500,000

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee global tax compliance and strategy across PH, US, and India

- Handle tax audits, controversies, and assessments

- Work with local tax consultants for US and India compliance

- Ensure full compliance across multiple jurisdictions including cross-border tax

- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed global tax team

- Partner with cross-functional departments and senior stakeholders

- Implement tax technology, automation, and control frameworks

- Support M and A, restructuring, and international expansion projects

- Manage compliance calendars and tax reporting (including ASC 740)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Law, Finance or related field

- CPA required; JD / LLM in Taxation preferred

- 5 to 8 years of tax experience with 3 to 5 years in leadership / global tax role

- Strong background in tax audits, controversy, assessments, and tax research

- Proven experience with India and US tax compliance

- Solid knowledge of PH, US, and India tax laws and cross-border taxation

- Experience leading distributed teams and building capabilities

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, judgment, and project management skills

- Background in multinational / BPO / shared services preferred

- Exposure to M and A, restructuring, and international expansion

- Experience with tax tech, automation, and compliance calendars

- Transfer pricing and ASC 740 knowledge is an advantage
