JOB TITLE: Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform

WORK SET UP: Onsite/ Hybrid 

Location: Manila

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that facilitate data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across various systems. You will collaborate with team members to address challenges and enhance data workflows, contributing to the overall efficiency of data management within the organization.

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams  to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

• Document data processes and workflows to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering to continuously improve processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Good working proficiency in Databricks or Databricks Unified Platform.

• Has good understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

• Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services related to data storage and processing like Azure Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud

• Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apache Spark and data lake architectures.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Databricks or Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

• This position is based at our Manila office and ideal candidate must be amenable to work onsite.
