Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration. The role involves developing and supporting custom software solutions, optimizing system performance, collaborating with multiple teams, and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support software components and applications.

• Manage and administer IBM z/OS systems.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to technical decisions.

• Act as an SME and provide solutions for complex technical issues.

• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.

• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within timelines.

• Implement software development and systems administration best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.

• Expert-level proficiency in IBM z/OS.

• Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with COBOL and JCL.

• Knowledge of database management and data storage solutions.

• Understanding of security protocols and systems administration best practices.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Work Requirements

• Onsite work in Manila is mandatory.

• Willingness to work shifting/night schedules.

• Willingness to travel when required for client/project engagements.
