Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Avaloq Consultant to provide expertise in Avaloq systems, functionalities, customization, and banking technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Avaloq experience, preferably with an Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification, and experience supporting banking, private banking, or wealth management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Avaloq business requirements, processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

• Design, configure, customize, and implement Avaloq solutions to improve system efficiency, functionality, and performance.

• Collaborate with business, technical, and project teams to configure and integrate Avaloq modules and functionalities.

• Provide Avaloq expertise for product management activities, enhancements, and business requirements.

• Perform customization, parameterization, extension, testing, and release management of Avaloq applications.

• Support reporting, interfaces, batch operations, and related banking technology processes.

• Troubleshoot complex technical and business issues and provide effective solutions.

• Work with stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery of Avaloq-related initiatives.

• Support continuous improvements across Avaloq products, processes, and system functionalities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Avaloq experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with the Avaloq platform and its functionalities.

• Experience in banking or financial services, preferably within private banking or wealth management.

• Experience with Avaloq product management, customization, parameterization, extension management, and release management.

• Hands-on experience with Avaloq modules, reporting, interfaces, and system customization.

• Strong technical skills in:

  • PL/SQL

  • Unix / Unix Shell Scripting

  • Control-M

  • Batch operations

• Ability to analyze requirements and troubleshoot complex technical and business issues.

• Good communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (ACP) processes and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification is highly preferred.

• Additional Avaloq certifications such as Customization Professional or Core Technologies are advantageous.

• Recent or current hands-on Avaloq experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience working on banking technology projects and enterprise-level Avaloq implementations is an advantage.
