Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welding Technician (MIG) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG welding, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong understanding of welding safety standards. The role involves producing high-quality welds while maintaining productivity and adhering to workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components according to technical specifications.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

• Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow health, safety, and quality procedures during all welding operations.

• Perform basic maintenance and inspection of welding equipment.

• Identify and report defects or equipment issues.

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of direct welding experience, preferably in MIG welding.

• Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

• Initial work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

• Future work schedule: 12-hour rotational shifts (Day/Night).

• Immediate joiners are preferred.
