Job Title: Associate – Interpretation Support (Cantonese/English)
Project: Healthcare Interpretation Support
Work Setup: Work From Home
Shift: Night Shift (Monday–Friday)
Contract: 6 months + 12 months renewable contractRole Overview:
We are seeking bilingual professionals fluent in Cantonese and English to provide real-time, over-the-phone interpretation support for a healthcare account. This role involves facilitating accurate and seamless communication between healthcare providers in the U.S. and Cantonese-speaking patients, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, meaning-for-meaning consecutive interpretation during live calls.
- Facilitate communication between medical professionals and patients across various healthcare scenarios.
- Maintain neutrality, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Handle sensitive and urgent situations with composure and adherence to established protocols.
- Ensure clarity, proper tone, and consistent first-person interpretation style.
- Participate in training, quality reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare terminology and industry practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong fluency in Cantonese and advanced proficiency in English.
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup with a reliable internet connection.
- Open to fresh graduates; experience in BPO, interpretation, or healthcare is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a permanent night shift schedule.
