The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Team Lead – Live TV & Media Operations to manage time-sensitive broadcast operations, lead teams, monitor live content, and ensure consistent SLA and quality performance.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Live TV, Live Sports, OTT, Video-on-Demand, Media Operations, or other real-time operations environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage team performance, task allocation, quality and SLA delivery.

• Monitor live TV, sports and VOD operations using internal tools and dashboards.

• Oversee multiple live video feeds with strong attention to detail.

• Handle escalations and coordinate with clients, vendors and cross-functional teams.

• Conduct RCA, quality audits and process reviews.

• Coach team members and implement performance improvement plans.

• Create and maintain SOPs, reports, dashboards and governance documentation.

• Participate in client calls, business reviews and performance presentations.

• Monitor tickets, emails, chats and operational updates to ensure timely resolution.

• Drive workflow and process improvements.

• Support internal audits and compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/people-management role.

• Experience in Live TV, Live Sports, OTT, VOD, Media Operations or another time-sensitive operations environment.

• Strong understanding of live-streaming and video operations.

• Experience with CRM, ticketing, workflow or operations management tools.

• Strong troubleshooting, RCA, reporting and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication, prioritisation and stakeholder-management abilities.

• Comfortable working with multiple devices including Smart TVs, mobile devices, tablets and gaming consoles.

• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Chrome and digital collaboration tools.

• Ability to monitor live streams for extended periods and identify programme start/end cues and operational issues.

• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking team metrics and performance reports.

Work Requirements

• Willing to work weekends and assigned shifts.

• Able to work beyond the scheduled shift when required by the client, on an occasional basis.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-priority environment.
