Role Overview

TCS is hiring a Team Lead – Buyer to lead Supply Chain Management (SCM), Sourcing, and Procurement operations. The role involves managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, contract administration, team leadership, process governance, and operational excellence while ensuring quality, SLA adherence, and business objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Buyer / Procurement team.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Conduct process training and team mentoring.

• Manage workflow allocation and employee performance.

• Handle escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.

• Monitor delivery, quality, productivity, and exception handling.

• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.

• Manage contract administration and procurement governance.

• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers and customers.

• Ensure procurement activities align with business and contractual objectives.

• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
