Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Entity Controller – F&A to manage accounting and reporting activities for Travelport operating entities.

The role will involve month/quarter/year-end close, P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, statutory reporting, reconciliations, audits, intercompany, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Cash & Bank activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month, quarter & year-end close activities and timelines
• Review Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet variances
• Prepare/review complex journal entries and accounting transactions
• Prepare and present legal entity reporting packs
• Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations and clearing of open items
• Coordinate external audits and statutory financial statement filings
• Ensure compliance with accounting controls and SLAs/KPIs
• Coordinate with onshore stakeholders and sub-ledger teams
• Support internal/external audit requirements
• Maintain process documentation and SOPs
• Drive Continuous Process Improvement, Lean/Six Sigma and RPA opportunities
• Support Oracle R12 / Trintech Cadency system improvements, UAT and implementations
