Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced RTR Team Lead with strong expertise in Record to Report (R2R) operations, process improvement, ERP systems, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive month-end close activities, financial reporting, governance, compliance, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and stakeholder management while ensuring operational excellence and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) operations.

• Manage Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

• Perform quality checks and provide feedback to Senior Associates and SMEs.

• Monitor SLA, TAT, accuracy, and compliance metrics.

• Drive governance meetings and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare dashboards and reports using Excel and PowerPoint.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Review internal controls and mitigate operational risks.

• Mentor team members, support new joiners, and ensure knowledge sharing.

• Support reporting, analytics, and month-end/quarter-end close activities.

• Ensure adherence to customer processes and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Record to Report (RTR).

• Minimum 3 years as Subject Matter Expert (SME).

• Minimum 2 years of team supervision/leadership experience.

• Finance & Accounting domain expertise.

• Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained (Black Belt preferred).

• Strong knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards (JDE).

• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Experience in Reporting, Compliance, and Governance.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
