What You'll Do

As a Procurement & Vendor Master Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth procurement operations while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.

Procurement Operations

• Review and validate purchase requisitions before converting them into Purchase Orders (POs).

• Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders in accordance with business requirements and procurement policies.

• Validate approvals and required documentation before issuing Purchase Orders.

• Process Purchase Order amendments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor Purchase Order confirmations and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely acknowledgment.

• Expedite Purchase Orders to support business timelines and operational requirements.

Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related queries from requesters, buyers, and suppliers.

• Resolve vendor and stakeholder issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

• Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless procurement operations.

Reporting & Process Excellence

• Generate and analyze procurement reports using reporting tools.

• Monitor procurement performance, identify exceptions, and implement corrective actions.

• Escalate critical issues proactively and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and turnaround time (TAT).

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Support and guide team members to achieve operational goals.

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the procurement team.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Vendor Management, or Procurement Operations.

• Strong experience handling transactional procurement processes and Purchase Order management.

• Hands-on experience working with SAP ERP or similar enterprise procurement systems.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Proven experience leading or mentoring teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
