Process: German Language Support – Procurement Operations

Job Overview

We are looking for a German Language Expert to support procurement and supply chain operations. The candidate will provide German language assistance, handle procurement-related requests, support purchase order (PO) creation, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing.

The ideal candidate should have good German language proficiency, basic knowledge of procurement operations, and the ability to meet quality, productivity, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide German language support for procurement and supply chain operations.

• Read, understand, and interpret German-language business and process-related information.

• Receive and review Purchase Requisition (PR) and Supply Chain (SC) requests.

• Support Purchase Order (PO) creation and related procurement activities.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests.

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and SLA performance.

• Handle customer and third-party stakeholder queries.

• Follow up on pending requests and open items.

• Follow the customer-defined escalation matrix for unresolved issues.

• Perform peer-to-peer quality checks to minimise processing errors.

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, client requirements, and internal policies.

• Identify and support process improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with internal teams and international stakeholders.

• Participate in client calls and business communication when required.

• Maintain strong communication and business relationships with stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

• 1–4 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).

• Good German language proficiency.

• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain operations.

• Knowledge of PR/SC handling and PO creation support.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Ability to understand customer quality and productivity expectations.

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Willingness to work in flexible shifts.

Shift Details

Candidates must be flexible to work in either of the following shifts:

• Shift 1: 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM

• Shift 2: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
