Job Title : Portuguese Data Analyst – Finance & Accounting

Job Description

We are looking for a Portuguese Data Analyst with a strong understanding of Finance & Accounting to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate should have excellent Portuguese and English communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience working with financial data, research, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of global corporations across multiple markets.

• Extract and capture key financial data from Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements, including Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Weighted Average Shares, Income Before Tax, Income Tax, one-time charges, and other financial metrics.

• Perform transaction-based and rule-based processing activities such as data verification, accuracy checks, formatting, posting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Extract and document financial estimates, forecasts, and business guidance from press releases, earnings calls, and company presentations.

• Conduct web-based research and document research to gather relevant financial information.

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance while processing financial data.

• Collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients on a regular basis to support business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory.

• 5–8 years of overall experience with 1–3 years of experience in the Finance & Accounting domain.

• Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting processes.

• Knowledge of financial markets, including Equity, Fixed Income, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or related domains.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Adaptable and willing to work in rotational and night shifts based on business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (B.Com, BAF, BMS, MBA Finance preferred). Candidates from other educational backgrounds with strong Portuguese and English communication skills may also be considered.

• Certifications such as NISM, CMSA, IFRS, or other finance-related certifications will be an added advantage.
