Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations Specialist to support US-based legal teams. The role involves handling legal documentation, legal hold management, engagement letters, settlement payment coordination, and ensuring compliance with US legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and manage legal hold notices in accordance with US litigation and eDiscovery requirements.

• Prepare and review engagement letters for external legal counsel.

• Coordinate settlement payment requests and maintain related documentation.

• Ensure compliance with US legal standards, company policies, and internal procedures.

• Collaborate with legal, finance, and external counsel to support legal operations.

• Maintain accurate legal records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of US litigation, legal operations, and eDiscovery.

• Experience with legal documentation, engagement letters, and settlement processes.

• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity or Exterro.

• Knowledge of compliance and workflow management systems.

• Exposure to corporate legal operations or law firm environments handling US matters.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in legal operations, litigation support, or corporate legal services.
