German Translator – AP

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced German Translator with strong German language proficiency to support translation activities within the Accounts Payable (AP) process. The role involves translating business and finance-related documents, invoices, and communications between German and English while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents and business communications from German to English and English to German.

• Support AP operations by translating invoices, finance documents, and related communications.

• Review translated content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and context.

• Coordinate with Finance, AP, and Operations teams to clarify translation requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

• Manage multiple translation requests and meet defined deadlines.

• Ensure quality and accuracy across all translated documents.

• Support stakeholders with German-language communication and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a German Translator.

• Strong proficiency in German reading, writing, and speaking.

• B2/C1 German language certification preferred.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a process-driven environment.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Languages, Commerce, or a related field.
