What You'll Do

As a German Translator, you'll play a key role in supporting global finance operations by translating business documents, invoices, and communications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and confidentiality.

Translation & Language Support

• Translate business documents, reports, emails, and communications accurately between German and English.

• Ensure translations maintain the intended meaning, tone, and business context.

• Review translated content for grammar, terminology, consistency, and quality.

• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business and financial information.

Accounts Payable (AP) Support

• Assist with translating Accounts Payable documents, invoices, vendor communications, and financial records.

• Support finance and operations teams in processing German-language documentation.

• Help resolve language-related queries between internal stakeholders and German-speaking partners.

• Ensure accuracy in financial terminology and documentation.

Collaboration & Operations

• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to facilitate smooth business processes.

• Support cross-functional teams by providing timely language assistance.

• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple translation assignments.

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance translation quality and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Languages, Commerce, Business, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of professional experience as a German Translator or in a similar language support role.

• Strong proficiency in German and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Excellent written communication and translation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Accounts Payable (AP) or Finance Operations.

• Experience working in Shared Services, BPO, or Global Business Services (GBS) environments.

• Familiarity with business or financial terminology.

Certification

• German Language Certification (B2 or C1) is highly preferred.
