Role Overview

TCS is looking for a France Payroll Team Lead to lead end-to-end France payroll operations and payroll accounting activities. The role involves payroll processing, General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, payroll compliance, statutory reporting, payroll month-end closing, stakeholder management, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with French payroll regulations and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end France payroll processing.

• Manage payroll inputs, validations, calculations, and payroll execution.

• Handle payroll-related General Ledger (GL) postings and reconciliations.

• Perform payroll month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with French payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.

• Review payroll outputs, salary payments, deductions, and employee benefits.

• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and escalations.

• Support payroll audits and statutory reporting.

• Maintain payroll documentation and internal controls.

• Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.

• Mentor and guide junior payroll team members.
