Education

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)

• Non-technical graduation and/or Master's degree in Finance & Accounts – B.Com, M.Com

• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting or equivalent

Must-Have Skills

• Fixed Assets Accounting – Capitalization, Depreciation, Transfers & Disposals

• Basic knowledge of Lease Accounting – IFRS 16 / ASC 842

• Reconciliations & Month-End Close

• Accounting & Compliance knowledge

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good-to-Have Skills

• ERP exposure – SAP/JDE

• Advanced Excel – Lookups, Pivot Tables, Reconciliations

• Workflow tools such as ServiceNow

• Data analysis and reporting

• Process improvement mindset

Role Purpose

• Execute end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes accurately and within timelines

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting activities

• Maintain high-quality deliverables while meeting defined SLAs

• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes

Key Accountabilities

• Perform Fixed Assets accounting activities including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and asset reconciliation

• Process lease accounting transactions including lease recognition, remeasurement, modifications, and reporting support

• Prepare and validate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within defined timelines

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit guidelines and provide audit support as required

• Deliver accurate, complete, and high-quality outputs within SLAs

• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement and automation initiatives

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and provide required data and insights

• Maintain documentation, trackers, and SOPs

Technical & Functional Capabilities

• Moderate proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Good understanding and experience of JDE or SAP

• Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting

• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle difficult conversations and work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work in ANZ shifts (starting around 4:00/5:00 AM)

• Flexibility with working hours

• 5 days work from office is mandatory
