Finance & Accounts – BlackLine Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts – BlackLine Consultant with 7–10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, ERP applications, and BlackLine implementation/support. The candidate should have strong knowledge of finance processes, business requirements, stakeholder management, and BlackLine modules.

Education

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification in Finance & Accounts

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance & Accounting with ERP certification/proficiency preferred

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of ERP applications

• Hands-on experience with BlackLine

• Preferably experience across multiple/all BlackLine modules

• Hands-on experience in 2–3 projects involving:

  • Account Reconciliation

  • Task Management

  • Journal Management

• Added advantage: experience with ICH, Cash Application, FRA, and BI Studio

• Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes

• Ability to understand and translate business requirements

• Experience in configuration vs. customization

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to interact with customers to understand business requirements and document them

• Ability to troubleshoot issues beyond the candidate's core module

Good-to-Have

• CA, Cost Accountant, or equivalent Finance qualification

• Project and delivery management experience

• Experience in building or understanding standard ERP reports and custom reports

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into BlackLine solutions

• Configure and support BlackLine modules based on business needs

• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to gather and document requirements

• Support Account Reconciliation, Task Management, Journals, and other BlackLine modules

• Troubleshoot functional and application-related issues

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, ERP, and technology teams

• Support project delivery, process improvements, and reporting requirements

• Ensure solutions align with Finance & Accounting processes and business objectives
