Job Summary

TCS is hiring a Portuguese-speaking Data Analyst with experience in Finance and Accounting. The role involves researching and analysing financial statements, broker reports, earnings releases and company presentations for large global corporations.

The candidate will extract important financial information, verify data accuracy, prepare reconciliations and financial reports, conduct web-based research and interact regularly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, review and interpret financial statements and broker reports of global corporations across multiple markets.
• Extract key financial data from Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.
• Capture financial data points such as revenue, net income, earnings per share, weighted-average shares, income before tax, income tax and one-time charges.
• Extract future estimates and company guidance from press releases, earnings calls and corporate presentations.
• Conduct detailed web and document-based financial research.
• Perform transaction-based and rule-based processing activities.
• Verify data, perform accuracy checks, format information and post financial data.
• Prepare system-to-system reconciliations, balancing reports and open-item reports.
• Review financial information for completeness, consistency and accuracy.
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Follow applicable quality, compliance and process requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong Portuguese-language proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts, processes and financial workflows.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant Finance and Accounting experience.
• Strong web-research and document-research skills.
• Willingness to work rotational and night shifts.
• Comfortable working from the Thane location.
