Role Overview

TCS is looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR) to lead end-to-end financial close and reporting operations. The role is responsible for General Ledger governance, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit support, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, team leadership, and finance transformation initiatives within a shared services/BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

• Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and accounting adjustments.

• Ensure timely financial reporting and adherence to SLA timelines.

• Review trial balances, financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.

• Manage General Ledger operations and Chart of Accounts governance.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP.

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged reconciling items.

• Manage intercompany accounting, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations.

• Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.

• Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls.

• Lead and develop RTR team members.

• Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Procurement, and Business Finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.

• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.

• 7–10 years of Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting experience.

• Team management experience in Shared Services/BPO/GCC.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
