We are looking for an experienced AP / RTR English Language Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Record to Report (RTR) processes, excellent English communication skills, and hands-on experience with SAP ERP. The candidate will be responsible for invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing activities, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end Accounts Payable or Record to Report activities.

• Process invoices, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations accurately.

• Support month-end and period-end close activities.

• Handle vendor and stakeholder queries professionally.

• Execute payment processing, vendor reconciliations, and exception handling.

• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with SOPs, audit requirements, and internal controls.

• Work with SAP ERP to perform finance and accounting transactions.

• Prepare reports, documentation, and support internal/external audits.

• Meet quality standards and SLA timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance.

• 3–5 years of experience in AP or RTR processes.

• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience with SAP (SAP FI/AP preferred).

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
