We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building batch and real-time data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and working with modern cloud data technologies to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and migration.

• Develop solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.

• Process and manage structured and semi-structured data using formats such as Avro, Parquet, JSON, and CSV.

• Optimize SQL queries and improve data processing performance.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data pipelines using GCP monitoring and logging tools.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across the data platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure data architectures.

• Implement best practices for automation, governance, and cloud-based data engineering.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.

• Experience building batch and real-time/streaming data pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Java.

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and cloud-based data engineering.

• Experience with Cloud Spanner, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer certification is an advantage.

• Knowledge of IAM, KMS, DLP, and GCP security best practices is a plus.

• Must be currently residing in the Philippines with the legal right to work.
