RCM Operations Supervisor

Position Overview

The RCM Operations Supervisor will lead, coach, and supervise a team of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) professionals in a high-volume BPO environment. The role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, SLA compliance, healthcare regulatory compliance, and achievement of key performance metrics including Quality, Productivity, and Turnaround Time (TAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily floor operations, conduct team huddles, and ensure effective workflow distribution across RCM processes including billing, collections, claims, denials, and accounts receivable.

• Manage attendance, schedule adherence, queue monitoring, and overall operational discipline.

• Provide floor support and resolve operational escalations and complex processing issues.

• Monitor team performance against Productivity, Quality Assurance (QA), SLA, and TAT metrics.

• Analyze performance reports and error trends to identify root causes and performance gaps.

• Implement corrective action plans and coaching strategies to improve team performance.

• Conduct regular 1-on-1 coaching, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.

• Support newly onboarded RCM specialists during nesting and transition-to-production.

• Partner with Training teams to identify training needs and conduct process refreshers.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, data privacy policies, and client security protocols.

• Maintain accurate coaching, attendance, and performance management documentation.

• Ensure operational readiness for client audits, quality calibrations, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of BPO experience with hands-on experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience as a Team Leader, Operations Supervisor, or Subject Matter Expert in a BPO environment.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end RCM processes, including Billing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Claims Submission, and Denials/Appeals.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness to work onsite and on a night shift/shifting schedule.
